Exempt positions:

  • Sales Manager
    • Primary Objective: Development and implementation of the total sales effort of the hotel, including securing new accounts, supervising activities of administrative personnel, and executing sales strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction.
      Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; two to four years experience in Hotel or Resort Sales.
  • Assistant Banquet Manager
    • Primary Objective: Effectively monitor the daily operations of the Banquet Department, including providing support and guidance to fellow banquet personnel to ensure a successful and effective operation ending in a positive guest experience.
      Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. One to two years food and beverage service and management background with prior hospitality experience required.

  • Lounge Manager
    • Primary Objective: Responsible for managing multiple beverage outlets in a boutique hotel.
      Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; two to four years high volume bar and/or F&B experience. Previous management/supervisory experience necessary. Marketing experience helpful. Must be able to motivate high- energy team.

  • Front Office Supervisor
    • Primary Objective: Coordinate and expedite the registration and checkout process at the front desk. Oversee daily operation of the front desk.
      Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, two to four years experience in front office/housekeeping/guest services, including at least two years supervisory experience required.
  • Staff Accountant
    • Primary Objective: Oversees and ensures the proper operations of the various disciplines of the Accounting department (AP, AR, Payroll) Assists the Controller with the month end processes.
      Qualifications:Associates degree preferred. One to two years accounting experience, preferably in hotel accounting.
  • Night Auditor – part-time
    • Primary Objective: Reconcile and post daily revenue activity.
      Qualifications: High School or equivalent education required. One to two years in an accounting position.
  • Engineer
    • Primary Objective: Keep hotel facilities (heat, power, air conditioning, and refrigeration) in optimum operating condition by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on hotel power plant machinery. Perform general repairs in and around hotel as needed. To maintain the hotel’s customer and heart of house areas in accordance with company standards by performing preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
      Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or related technical school degree preferred. Three to five years in a major hotel, hospital, or building.
  • Guest Room Attendant
    • Primary Objective: Clean guest rooms in accordance with established Tecton quality and performance standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms for sale
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. No prior experience required. Hospitality experience desired.
  • House Person
    • Primary Objective: To contribute to an attractive and clean hotel in accordance with the standards of Tecton Hospitality by providing support for housekeeping staff and cleaning assigned areas.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. No prior experience required. Hospitality experience desired.
  • Lobby Attendant
    • Primary Objective: To contribute to an attractive and clean hotel by providing public space cleaning of customer floors, hallways and service areas.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. No prior experience required. Hospitality experience desired.
  • Laundry Attendant
    • Primary Objective: Sort, wash and clean hotel linens.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. No prior experience required. Hospitality experience desired.
  • Bellman
    • Primary Objective: To provide efficient and courteous assistance to guests.
      Qualifications: High School or equivalent education required. Prior experience in a public contact position.
  • Agent of Desires
    • Primary Objective: Offer assistance and/or information to guests and visitors regarding the hotel and its facilities and the surrounding area with its restaurants and attractions.
      Qualifications: High School or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. One to two years prior experience in a public contact position.
  • Customer Service Agent
    • Primary Objective: Attend to guests’ needs, including, but not limited to, registration, checkout and cashiering.
      Qualifications: High School or equivalent education required. Prior experience in a public contact position.
  • PBX Operator
    • Primary Objective: Answer and direct calls for guests and staff. Handle guests’ messages and requests. Responsible for proper execution of emergency procedures.
      Qualifications: High School or equivalent education required. Prior experience in a public contact position is preferred.
  • Cook
    • Primary Objective: Manage all aspects of the food production for banquets, including food preparation according to the description. Adhere to sanitation practices.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. Certified Cook level or higher. Minimum of two years experience in hotel or resort kitchen.

  • Stewart
    • Primary Objective: Responsible for proper cleaning and handling of all utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware; also responsible for maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness of designated kitchen areas.
      Qualifications: High School or equivalent education required. No prior experience required. Food Handler Certification required or as mandated by state law.
      Hourly (AM, PM & Overnight)
  • Restaurant Supervisor
    • Primary Objective: Daily supervision and direction of outlet service staff. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality standards for outlets. Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. Minimum of two years food and beverage service background required.
      Hourly (AM & PM)
  • Host/Cashier
    • Primary Objective: Receives and seats guests, supervises the dining room associates, maintains order and cleanliness, adjusts complaints, acts as cashier, may act as room service order-taker.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. Customer service experience is preferred.

  • Server
    • Primary Objective: Serve food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional and timely manner.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. Minimum of two years experience as food server in full service restaurant is required. Customer service experience is preferred.
      Hourly (AM & PM, FT & PT)
  • Dining Room Attendant
    • Primary Objective: Provide friendly, courteous and efficient quality presentation of food and beverage service to all guests. Clean and set up tables in the outlet and perform other food service related duties, including general cleaning and set up.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. No prior experience required. Customer service experience is preferred.

  • Room Service Server
    • Primary Objective: Serve guests via room service, including order-taking, food and beverage delivery, cashier duties and clearing of trays.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. No prior experience required. Hospitality experience desired.

  • Banquet Captain
    • Primary Objective: Serve guests at the level of service established by management. Supervise the banquet staff at all stages of a function from set-up to breakdown.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. Strong supervisory experience in Banquet Services required.

    • Primary Objective: Serve food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.

  • Barback
    • Primary Objective: Ensure that the bar is set and maintained so that the bar staff has everything it needs to run an effective operation, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the outlet, running food, and set-up and breakdown of the bar.
      Qualifications: High school or equivalent education required. Prior bar experience preferred. Customer service experience is preferred.
