National Reading Month

In support of Literacy Services of Wisconsin

In support of literacy programs like Literacy Services of Wisconsin, The Iron Horse Hotel implemented a literacy program of its own, Book Now, in 2014. The process is simple: Guests are welcome — and encouraged — to leave hardcover books in their room or in the hotel’s Library upon departure, and the hotel donates those books to LSW. In celebration of National Reading Month, the hotel is celebrating the Book Now program in true Milwaukee fashion — with drinks! Stop by Local Motives every weekday from 4 to 7 p.m. in March, donate a hardcover book and receive a complimentary Wisconsin-made beer or cocktail. Give a little, get a little. Now that’s a story we can all enjoy!
