The Iron Horse Hotel Birthday Party Ends the Summer in Style

On September 17th, The Iron Horse Hotel turned 7 years old and threw a big Birthday Bash to commemorate the occasion. Even the rain couldn’t stop our party, as we had a great turn-out and even greater time! The night started with a champagne toast, a decorative birthday cake and a roasted pig by Executive Chef Bradford. A special Lucky Number Seven Menu featured delicious edibles like our Brat with Fries, Chicken Wings and Cheese Curds, and $7 cocktails including our famed Tokyo Mule, the Summer Solstice and the Paloma. We then danced the night away to the tunes by DJ Jordan Lee. In 2008, The Iron Horse Hotel opened its doors for the first time in Milwaukee’s historic downtown district. The 1907 building was the former home to the Berger Bedding Company, which Milwaukee carpenter Tim Dixon restored and renovated into the upscale, industrial boutique hotel we are today. Since then, we have been host to overnight visitors from around the world and locals who hold private events or join us for good food, drinks, art and live music daily. In our seven years the Iron Horse Hotel has had: 193,448 nights booked, 265,476 overnight guests and 6,133 walk-in reservations. Thank you to all who helped The Iron Horse Hotel enjoy this fun birthday celebration and achieve seven years of success!
