When people hear Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they think of beer and cheese. While they’re not wrong (it’s still pretty damn good,) there are a million other things you should check out.
From a voracious art scene to an established Harley contingent, there’s a bevy of different people, interests and opportunities to see the real Milwaukee. But still try the beer and cheese curds, they’re awesome.

MILWAUKEE IS HOME.
HERE, WE DON'T DISAPPOINT.
SO ENJOY THE RIDE.

*Walker's Point is named after Milwaukee founding father, George Walker, who was described as portly, cheerful and kind.
Just how we like it.

NOT TO GO ON AND ON BUT OUR MILWAUKEE HOTEL IS PRETTY DAMN COOL.
Constructed in 1907, the building was home to the Berger Bedding Company and designed by noted architectural firm Buemming & Dick. The property was the catalyst for the creation of the Third and Florida Industrial Historic District, included on the National Register of Historic Places.
We feature original Cream City brick and metal fire doors. Its exposed posts and beams are 300-year-old heart pine timbers, and the building is the last timber-frame construction in Milwaukee. Continuing education students at the neighboring Bradley Tech High School transformed beams that had to be removed for remodeling into boot benches.
What’s in a name, you ask? Well, our name reflects the duality of our unique location. Native Americans referred to the train as the “iron horse” as it sped through the prairies. Today, the hotel remains nestled along a historic yet active railroad. Several times each day guests are treated to the slow chug of freight cars. Rumble, rumble.
Today’s pop culture refers to the motorcycle as the modern iron horse, a name benefitting our location, conveniently located near the Harley-Davidson Museum and a nod to our rider amenities.
After the name was chose, it was discovered that the building’s century-old carved capitals serendipitously resembled and “I” in the shape of a horse head and an “H”. The icon was born and now subtly appears throughout the hotel.
Milwaukee is a special place. We’re gritty, buzzing and always celebrating our city’s great heritage.

YEAH, WE HAVE BEER
AND A TON OF OTHER STUFF
Milwaukee Arts
Home to one of the most iconic Art Museum structures in the world, Milwaukee doesn't mess around when it comes to art. Our blue collar roots contain a splash of other colors as well. Whatever you're looking for, we guarantee there's something for your palette.
414 Foodies
The cheese is delicious, we're not gonna lie. But in a city built on 19th century immigrants, from German to Polish to Scottish to French, we've amassed quite a diverse taste for food. We've gotten pretty good at making beverages to wash those down too.
Milwaukee Rumble
No, we don't get earthquakes. But there's still a chance the ground moves underneath your feet when you catch a few Harley riders sail by. Home to the largest annual Harley-Davidson party in the world, you can't possibly say we don't have fun.

We’re always in high spirits. Here’s what’s happening in Milwaukee during your stay.
