Named for the figures and landmarks that have helped make Milwaukee what it is today, Milwaukee Boot Co.’s boots are a hand-crafted nod to Milwaukee’s wealth of industry and work ethic. Much like The Iron Horse Hotel, they’re made for those who crave real craftsmanship.

The first Milwaukee leather tannery opened in 1842 and throughout the next several decades, the city became the largest leather manufacturing center in the world. The city was responsible for creating everything from boots and saddles, to jackets and materials for the Civil War.

Milwaukee Boot Co.’s designers come from a long line of shoemakers and artisans — and operate out of family-owned, third generation factories. While they’ve been refining their craft for three generations, it wasn’t until 2019 that they opened their flagship store beneath their corporate headquarters, located in the heart of Walker’s Point — and right next door to The Iron Horse Hotel.
